That was a short tease and the King is playing in Texas in 2026.
King George Strait made a post Thursday afternoon teasing “an announcement incoming for the Lone Star State”, on his Instagram. Then Friday he revealed exactly what that tease for Texas meant.
George will be heading to Raiderland in West Texas to perform live in Lubbock, Texas in the round for one night only at Jones AT&T Stadium Saturday April 25, 2026. Miranda Lambert and Hudson Westbrook are set to open for George too.
His Instagram post on the 2026 Texas show reads…
“There’s nothing quite like a George Strait show in the lone star state. Over a decade since his last show in Lubbock, The King returns to Raiderland with an all Texans line up.”
