Morgan Wallen will be honored by Spotify in an upcoming episode of their “Billions Club” series. He’ll be the fourth artist to be featured, but the first for Country.
The four other previous artists that have been honored are Ed Sheeran, The Weeknd, and Miley Cyrus.
Morgan is the first Country artist to have three songs hit the billion streams mark. They are “Last Night”, “Whiskey Glasses”, and “I Had Some Help” featuring Post Malone.
There isn’t a release date for his “Billions Club” episode, but Spotify says it’ll drop soon. He’ll receive a special plaque, and share some behind-the-scenes stories about his hits. There are currently 1,081 songs that have reached a billion streams.
But only 13 of those are classified under the “Country” genre and they are:
