Dillon Carmichael and Chris Janson recently teamed up on a song called “Raised Up Wrong”, and I’m here for this song. Chris said he was asked by Dillon to join him on the song and he didn’t hesitate after hearing what the song was about. Dillon said it as an honor to work with Chris too.
The first verse reeled me in. It says, “we were bible belt bible every Sunday dirty carhartt wearing working hard for your money. A little redneck sweating kept the lights turned on.”
The lyrics are solid. Dillon said, “I wrote this song from the heart and meant every word I said. I am such a huge of Chris Janson from day one and I am beyond honored to share the mic with him.”
