The 99th annual 2025 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Here’s a rundown of everything you need to know:
There’s a total of 34 balloons on the lineup including Beagle Scout Snoopy, Bluey, Minnie Mouse, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Spider-Man. New additions include Buzz Lightyear, Super Mario, Pac-Man, and Shrek’s Onion Carriage.
The 28 floats include “Sesame Street”, Camp Snoopy, and “Dora the Explorer”. New additions include LEGO, Labubu, “Stranger Things”, and the tiniest float at just 8-inches tall with to-scale Goldfish crackers.
Performers include a bunch of people I’ve never heard like Cynthia Erivo, Lil Jon, the singing voices of HUNTR/X from “Kpop Demon Hunters”, Foreigner, Kool & the Gang (I’ve heard of them), Mr. Fantasy (who is speculated to be KJ Apa’s alter ego) and of course of 2025 CMA Entertainer of the Year winner…Lainey Wilson.
It airs at 8:30 a.m. in all time zones, and there’ll be an encore at 2:00 p.m. The entire program is 3-and-a-half hours long. Al Roker, Hoda Kotb, and Savannah Guthrie will return as your hosts.
You can watch it on NBC, Peacock, and Fubo. If you choose to see it on Peacock, there are three different camera angles to choose from. There’s the regular view, a POV from the Turkey float, and a bird’s eye view.
You can feel free to check out the full lineup at Macys.com. If you click on the individual performer’s name, you can see which float they’ll be on, like Foreigner on “Stranger Things”. There are also fun facts listed for each balloon entry.
