The Hondo Rodeo Fest will be held at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans from April 10th through the 12th in 2026. The three-day event will feature a premium rodeo competition, a nice little major country music concert series, and a western culture fan festival.
The event includes a champion-level rodeo with a $1 million prize purse, which is one hell of a prize purse too.
Their music entertainment includes Jason Aldean and Lynyrd Skynyrd on night one. Cody Johnson and Old Dominion are set for night two. Then Creed and Bailey Zimmerman are scheduled to close down the rodeo on April 12th, Sunday night.
Tickets will grant access to both the rodeo and the concert series. The pre-sale begins on December 10, 2025, with general on-sale starting December 12, 2025. Floor passes are available as an add-on for front-of-stage concert access. For tickets and more, please visit thehondorodeofest.com.
