Kelsea Ballerini had a testy moment onstage in Sydney.
She was singing her heart out right in the middle of her song “Penthouse” when someone in the crowd yelled, “Team Morgan!” That is of course referring to her ex-husband Morgan Evans…and it was bound to happen considering Morgan is from Australia.
The crowd booed, and Kelsea fired back with “f*ck off” and I don’t blame her. She of course rolled her eyes and playfully flipped a middle finger. Then she said, “how about ‘team everyone happy’?”
“Penthouse” is on her album “Rolling Up the Welcome Mat”….which she wrote after their divorce. So yeah, emotions run deep with that one.
After the show, Kelsea posted on Instagram saying, quote, “if anyone yells anything disrespectful during this song again, it will no longer be on the setlist.”
