Zach Top Said Inspiring Young Artists Is One of His Biggest Career Goals

Zach Top’s career has taken off fast, but his eyes are already on what comes next.

He said one of the biggest goals of his career has nothing to do with charts or trophies. It’s about influence.

Zach was asked what drives him after his New Artist of the Year win at the CMA Awards, and he said, “one of the biggest goals in my career…I hope there’s some young kids out there, guys or gals, that see me playing and singing and want to do the same thing and kind of get inspired by me.”

Zach has become the torchbearer for traditional country. He’s basically the modern-day Alan Jackson. Or maybe that’s just the mustache. Regardless if he can inspire more traditional country artists to be like him…or like his “dad”, Alan Jackson, I welcome that.

Country music needs more artist that sound like country music. I mean as a traditional country music fan myself…we’ve heard enough crossover experiential sh*t that’s being called country music.
