Gunnery Sergeant Stephen Corson is heading to the Marine Corps Ball tonight (1/16/26). But instead of asking someone out the usual way, he decided to go big.
Stephen posted a TikTok asking Ella Langley to be his date, and the video now has more than 1.6 million views.
In the clip, Stephen asks ChatGPT about his odds of her saying yes. The answer is “0.5 percent to 2 percent” by the way. So, basically it’s a lottery ticket.
He went ahead and took the chance anyway to politely invite Ella to experience Marine Corps culture for a night. And since he’s from Salt Lake City, he also said that he hopes that she might be “Choosin’ Utah”.
Fans are flooding the comments begging her to respond. So far, there’s no word. But the clock is ticking…and hopefully she says yes.
