Here is a wild piece of country music history.
One Reddit user was exploring an abandoned nightclub in Russellville, Arkansas recently and found a piece of paper titled “Rules for Carrie Underwood.” The list is very clear too.
There was supposed to be no alcohol allowed anywhere near Carrie. And it was all in black and white…with some words written in blue pen to make sure people understood what the rule were.
The rules say she had to be with an adult at all times…she could not go to the bar or dance floor…and was only allowed to drink Coke or water.
There was no alcohol allowed at her table. And no drinks on stage while she performed. Even signing photos required adult supervision.
The venue was called The North 40, and the rules were enforced by the Alcoholic Beverage Control. People think this means Carrie was under 21 at the time…which would have been before “American Idol” changed her life.
