A.I. scams are getting scarier by the day.
It eve made Cody Johnson having to tell his fans that they need to be extra careful. Apparently, scammers have started using A.I. generated images and fake posts pretending to be him.
In a statement posted on his Facebook, his team said, “with today’s internet and A.I. it’s almost impossible to tell the difference between the truth and fiction.”
They warned that fake images, fake news stories, and even fake show announcements are spreading fast. It’s basically ridiculous.
Cody’s team says if something using his name or face does not come directly from his verified accounts, “please don’t fall for it.”
