Thomas Rhett is getting real about something a lot of artists probably deal with, but don’t always talk about.
Here’s what Thomas shared on a recent podcast…as he said, “I’m kind of going deaf in this ear a little bit. I had to go get hearing aids as a 35-year-old man.”
It’s probably from all that loud music at concerts over the years, but he also has four children…with a fifth on the way. So, his house has to be insanely loud.
Thomas said he wore the hearing aids for about a week and looked at his wife, and asked, “is this legit what you hear all day long?” It was like he was things at home for the first time.
His wife laughed and said, “he was like, ‘I can’t think straight. It’s so loud.’ I was like, ‘Babe, welcome.'”
As a parent here…maybe a little hearing loss as a parent isn’t that bad of a thing? Our toddler never stops talking now. It’s definitely cute to hear her talk…but sometimes I need a break from listening to her.
