It was Valentine’s Day in San Antonio at the stock show and rodeo…and this 6-year-old Mutton Bustin’ champion’s post-ride interview turned into a confession of love for his girlfriend. His name is T.G. Crain and he dedicated his 98 point ride to his girlfriend.
He asked, “do you have a girlfriend?”, and he just shook his head yes instead of actually saying words. Then he was if he had anything he wanted to say to his girlfriend and he said, “I love her.”
The rodeo clown who was interviewing T.G. asked the rodeo crowd, “San Antonio, do girl love cowboys who win belt buckles?” The crowd did in fact confirm that to be true. I can also respect that a boy at 6 years old already knows what he wants…and loves in life.
