Parker McCollum has had a #1 song on country radio, played dream venues, and signed a record deal, but those accomplishments haven’t been fulfilling for him.
He sat down and talked with Tracy Lawrence on his “TL’s Road House” podcast and Parker had a lot to say life.
Parker said, “it’s didn’t fill my cup quite like I thought it was going to. Because I’ve been fortunate, man, everything I dreamed about I’ve got to do…I thought that’s what was gonna make it all okay, and it’s just not the reality of it.
I wrote a song, it’s on that deluxe thing that came out, “Big Ole Fancy House”, that’s kind of what it’s about man. You know you get everything you ever wanted.”
