Ella Langley And Morgan Wallen Hit This Billboard Milestone Last Reached by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers

Country music is alive and doing very well y’all.

Ella Langley and Morgan Wallen’s duet, “I Can’t Love You Anymore”, is the first song by two country artists in “lead roles” to debut in the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10. The single literally starts at #7 on the Hot 100 dated May 9th too.

Regardless of the debut position, it’s the first Hot 100 Top 10 by two country artists in lead roles, since Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton did it over 40 years ago with “Islands in the Stream”.

Of course, there have been other country duets in the Top 10, but those were technically “features”, like “I Remember Everything” by Zach Bryan featuring Kacey Musgraves.

And in other related Ella news…her song, “Choosin’ Texas”, also scored an eighth week atop the Billboard Hot 100.
