It’s been 12 years since Jake Worthington was a runner-up on “The Voice”. And apparently those years have presented some unexpected challenges, because he announced that he’s taking a temporary break from music.
He post a statement on his socials saying, “I live a life as my heroes did, but that life gotten ahold of me. I love my family, my friends and my fans too much to let it take over me. I need to take some time to work on myself for my wife and daughter.
I promise I will come back even better. God bless country music.”
Take your time Jake. We all need it sometimes and family time is more important than anything we call work. Jake’s daughter, Whitley Anne, will be 2 years old in October too.
