A New Randy Travis Album Will Come Out This Year

Randy Travis’ wife Mary announced that a new Randy album will come out by the end of the year.

She said, “we have a whole new album coming out of archived music. It’s stuff that he had sang before the stroke [in 2013]. It’s been mastered, mixed, and ready to go.”

This will be the first album with new and never-before-heard tracks from Randy since 2008 and his first full-length record since 2014.

In other news, this should make you feel like you’ve definitely aged, for the 40th anniversary of his debut album, “Storms of Life”, the front room at the Nashville Palace has been renamed after him. Before the fame, he worked there as a cook and dishwasher in the late ’70s and early ’80s.

Also, if you’re going to CMA Fest 2026 this weekend, he’ll be doing meet and greets in front of a set inspired by the cover of “Storms of Life”.
