Lainey Wilson finally met Tim McGraw at CMA Fest after being a fan since she was a kid…and it was a hell of a meeting too.
They obviously performed “I Like It I Love It” onstage together at CMA Fest but that wasn’t the real reason to talk about them. When Lainey was a teenager, she actually wrote him a letter, but he never got it. I’m also sure all of the letters I wrote King George Strait as a kid didn’t get to him neither, but I’m getting off track here.
Well, 20 years later, Tim wrote Lainey a letter. And Tim said he responded as if he had received the letter back then, and what he would’ve said. He’s also going to write a song about it too.
