All is right in the world of country music again.
Ella Langley added another milestone to her record-breaking year as her smash banger “Choosin’ Texas” returned to the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100, reclaiming the top spot from Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You.” The latest chart marks the song’s 11th non-consecutive week atop the all-genre ranking, further proving Ella’s star power.
After spending five weeks behind releases from Taylor Swift, Drake, and Ariana Grande, “Choosin’ Texas” climbed back to the top of that chart.
With its 11th week at #1, “Choosin’ Texas” is now the longest-leading Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper by a female country artist, surpassing Debby Boone’s 1977 classic “You Light Up My Life,” which spent 10 weeks atop the chart, per Billboard.
Ella’s “Be Her” is also currently sitting at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart as well. And that song fires me up every time I hear it too.
