President Trump’s Motorcade Was Escorted By The”Rough Riders” To Visit The Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library in North Dakota

Not gonna lie. This got me feeling a patriotic on Friday July 1, 2026.

President Donald Trump’s motorcade was escorted by a ceremonial cavalry unit known as “Rough Riders” during his visit to Medora, North Dakota. The riders preceded the motorcade through the badlands to mark the grand opening of the newly built Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library.

The ceremonial escort was a historical tribute to the 1st United States Volunteer Cavalry. “Rough Riders” was the famous nickname given to the military unit led by Theodore Roosevelt himself during the Spanish-American War in 1898.

Need to say…this was bad ass for President Trump’s motorcade. And on America’s 250th birthday week nonetheless.
