The 2026 Windy City Smokeout is behind us now.
Blake Shelton officially closed out the 5-day Windy City Smokeout in Chicago on Sunday, July 12, 2026. He headlined the final night of the festival outside the United Center, treating fans to some country music and jokes.
He was talking on stage about his bff Luke Bryan and how they both like to have the crowd sing along with them. Blake pointed out how he only likes to have the crowd sing along to “get the party started”.
And Luke gets the crowd to sing along because “he’s drunk and high. High on drugs…and can’t remember the words to his own songs.”
Of course I can’t confirm rather or not Blake is telling the truth…but I do in fact believe him. Why else would Luke fall off the stage as he’s done so many times. It all makes sense and Blake is just obviously concerned with his friend.
