Saturday July 25, 2026, at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada…didn’t go very well for the “Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2” stop.
Post Malone’s concert at Edmonton’s Commonwealth Stadium on July 25, 2026, was abruptly halted and evacuated after a powerful severe thunderstorm struck just two songs into his performance. A fast-moving severe storm brought heavy downpours, intense sideways rain, strong winds, hail, and dangerous lightning.
Post said, “ladies and gentlemen…holy f*ck. Um…they’re saying” as he paused to make sure they were actually kicking him off the stage. He then continued saying, “there’s lightning apparently very close. So, I guess they’re kicking me off the stage. And I suppose it’s a weather delay, we’re going to come back out here…but they’re saying shelter in place.”
After performing only two tracks, Posty informed the crowd that the show had to pause due to nearby lightning. Organizers directed an estimated 40,000 fans to leave the open stands and seek safety inside the stadium’s covered concourse areas.
And it looked like hell for concert goers too.
Despite the chaotic rush for cover and packed concourse areas, luckily no serious injuries were reported at the venue.
