62-Year-Old Craig Morgan Scaled the Stage Without a Harness

This what Army strong looks like y’all.

Craig Morgan actually served 17 years on active duty and in the U.S. Army Reserve with the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions before launching his music career. Then at age 59, he re-enlisted in the Army Reserve on stage at the Grand Ole Opry in July 2023, later rising to the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 2.

Craig is showing no signs of slowing down at 62. At the Neon Nights Country Music Festival in Ohio, he scaled a truss next to the stage while performing “International Harvester”. That song still fills my soul every time I hear it. Mainly because I’ve been team farmer.

He did the impressive climb all without a harness too, as he hung on with one hand and one foot above the crowd.
