Carly Pearce and Parker McCollum co-hosted the 19th ACM Honors on August 19, 2026, at The Pinnacle in Nashville…and they showed up with a nice surprise.
They literally opened the show with a flawless duet. They performed Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers’ classic hit, “Islands in the Stream”. They delivered the rendition to honor Dolly Parton, who was also the recipient of the prestigious ACM Poet’s Award.
I also don’t who you are, because when “Islands in the Stream” comes on I’m singing along with it. Like you’re supposed to do in life.
