This what you call a bold move and it’s definitely how get people talking about your tour.

Kacey Musgraves kicked off her “Middle of Nowhere Tour” at the United Center in Chicago, viralizing online for performing her trackRhinestoned while suspended on a prop shaped like a giant pair of rhinestoned disco balls. She literally buckled herself in to sing “Rhinestoned”, a track from her 2026 album Middle of Nowhere album.

She had a massive set of double disco balls suspended from the ceiling, which fans and media widely compared to a sparkly set of “truck nuts” or a “disco ballsack”. Both are describing her disco ball perfectly well beyond the way.

During the concert, she even joked that her nana always advised her, “if you’re gonna do something, do it big and do it sparkly.”

It’s probably the reason why she postponed some tour dates. She was probably waiting one he “disco ballsack” to arrive in one piece. They take time to make.
