First off. Her song “Boston” is a song that stays stuck in head. You can’t argue that.
So, Stella Lefty had to give songwriting credit to Noah Kahan for the similarity between “Boston” and his song “Stick Season”. Then, she had to give credit to The Dixie Chicks for interpolating their song on one of other songs called “Summer You Were Mine”.
Now, fans have found two more of her songs that have similarities to other songs. The chorus of “Why Wouldn’t We” shares a resemblance to Blake Shelton’s “I’ll Name the Dogs”.
And the chorus of her song “Misery” is similar to “A Million Dreams” from “The Greatest Showman”, you know that Hugh Jackman musical. I mean since the beginning of music…every chord has been played. Can we just get past the idea that this girls music is actually coping other songs? Because we could literally do this with every song ever made and find some similarities in them.
At least she’s giving credit where credit is due.
