This man releases country music that doesn’t miss.
Casey Donahew has been releasing music since he first showed up with his debut album “Lost Days” in 2006. I was hooked the first time I heard “Stockyards”.
Mainstream country radio keeps playing music that they think is better than this man’s music…and they are absolutely wrong as they have been for years. They are missing out giving country music fans country music that actually has substance. Texas music and red dirt music alone is better than 80% of the music that comes out of Nashville. That’s just factual information that you can actually hear.
“White Trash Story”, “What Cowboys Do”, “Drove Me To The Whiskey”, “Bad Guy”, “He Ain’t A Cowboy” and “Built Different” to name a few fill my soul. His music is cowboy country and it’s solid. Casey has been playing this song at his shows for a hot minute and teasing it on his socials. As in I’ve been not patiently waiting for this song.
