Lady A’s Charles Kelley has a rare blood cancer called multiple myeloma. He shared the news in a video on social media alongside his wife. He says he’s hopeful and that he wants to keep working while receiving treatment.
He said, “we just wanted to let y’all know, and I’ll try to let you in, you know, when I feel like it’s appropriate throughout the journey. And it’s just another hurdle, and you know, I’m confident that we’re going to get through it.”
Cancer is a disgusting thing about life and it affects so many people. And it doesn’t discriminate against age. I hope Charles and every person that has to put up that fight against it wins that battle. Cancer can also kiss my ass.
