Well, this is a series of interesting decisions.
Last week, a 22-year-old woman in Florida named Medjine Francois was pulled over, after a cop caught her flying down the interstate at 120 miles per hour.
When the cop asked her why she was going that fast, she said one of her two male passengers was late for a court hearing. She showed proof of that…apparently, it was less than 10 minutes from the current time.
The cop also noted that Medjine wasn’t wearing her seatbelt…it was fastened, but she was sitting on top of it. Also, the vehicle reeked of marijuana. Oh, and there was also a loaded semiautomatic rifle in the back.
Medjine’s record was clear…but the passenger who was due in court, 22-year-old Keyshawn Bennett, had two outstanding warrants for failing to appear.
Medjine and Keyshawn were arrested. The third passenger wasn’t charged. Hopefully they at least made it to court…because I’d be pissed if I had warrant put out for my arrest due to being pulled over by the police.
