There’s really no other way to put this. Than by saying this is just damn glorious! Emmit is on his way in life. Anyone who argues that should be back handed for disrespecting him. He’s an 8-year-old boy out of Wisconsin dubbed “Mullet Boy” and he won first place in the Mullet Championship kids division.
The 8-year-old from Menomonie, Wisconsin, was announced Sunday (8/21/22) to the world as the winner in the kids division for the USA Mullet Championships. He even beat out 688 kids and their flowing locks.l to earn that title.
“It’s awesome,” Emmitt told BuzzFeed News of his win. “It’s cool that so many people tell you that you got sweet hair.”
Apparently the mullet competition has been running since 2020 and it was started by, Kevin Begola, who is also the owner of A Michigan menswear store called Bridge Street Exchange in Fenton located northwest of Detroit. Begola said, “he started the event to have some fun and to celebrate the iconic ’80s hairstyle.” God bless for doing so. Let’s be real. The world will always need people with mullets. Cheers, Emmit!
