Walker Hayes plays a football coach in his video for “Y’all Life”. He said the video was inspired by “Friday Night Lights”, which is one of his favorite movies of all time.
He also said being a coach was a fallback option in life. Walker said, “if music didn’t work out, I think I might have [gotten] into that . . . a basketball coach or a football coach. I love working with kids, and I love sports.”
