Jake Owen was under the weather last weekend, but he refused to let it stop him. As they say. “The show must go on.” He did shows in Mankato, Minnesota…Kearney, Nebraska….and Ottumwa, Iowa. Then he finally got some medical care.
He shared the details on his Instagram. Quote, “I pretended to feel well all weekend, but ended up back in the hospital.” He didn’t say what he was suffering from, but it was bad enough that it almost knocked him out.
Jake said, “it was everything I could do to NOT pass out on stage. I got through it though because I know how lucky I am to do this for a living. I’m not dialing it in. I want to thank my entire crew and team for supporting me on stage and off.”
Sounds like it’s not too serious because he’s already making plans.
Jake added, “I’m gonna go see my Granddaddy celebrate his 100th birthday this weekend, and get some quality family time. I’m looking forward to that. I’ll be back out stronger than ever next time I hit the stage.”
