Luke Combs and Eric Church just announced a benefit concert for the victims of Hurricane Helene and tickets have already sold out.
It’s called “Concert for Carolina” and it will take place Saturday, October 26th at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. Billy Strings, James Taylor, Keith Urban, Bailey Zimmerman and more will perform. They have put together an incredible lineup and it’s all for a damn good cause.
All proceeds from the concert will be split evenly between Luke and Eric. Luke’s funds are earmarked for groups like Samaritan’s Purse, Manna Food Bank, and Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina.
Eric’s money raised will go to his charity, Chief Cares, and it will also be distributed to organizations that directly help those impacted by the storm.
Apparently, the artists involved contacted David Tepper, who owns the Carolina Panthers, about hosting the concert at Bank of America Stadium. The Panthers are away in Denver that weekend, so the venue was available, and the owner made it happen.
Marty Smith from ESPN, and Caleb Pressley from Barstool Sports will serve as the concert’s hosts. Additional artists are expected to be announced in the coming days.
