Ella Langley and Riley Green’s hit “You Look Like You Love Me” is one of those songs that once you hear it, it’s hard to get out of your head.
And not in a bad way. It’s playful, and catchy, and it dominated the airwaves last year.
So, we weren’t surprised when alternate versions of the song started popping up. This one is particularly good. It’s from a TikTok account called “Katy.Playin” and it’s a girl strumming her guitar and playing along to the melody.
Except she’s making some major changes to the lyrics. It starts out with, “excuse me, you look like you’re ugly. You look like you want me to lend you some type of cologne…
“And baby I don’t blame you for stinkin’ up and down across this room. I’m drunk and you’re making me dry heave. And you look like you’re ugly.”
And the best part is Ella saw the video and approved. She commented, “haha, yes love.” To which Katy replied, “LOLLL omg hi love you”.
