Move over Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran is coming in to try out the country music world. Well, eventually, from what we’re gathering here.
Ed was recently being interviewed by the Call Her Daddy podcast and he admitted that Nashville is his favorite city in the U.S.
Now it’s not like he’s completely new to the country scene, he’s shared a stage with Luke Combs…sang with Chris Stapleton…and even did a surprise set at the iconic honky-tonk Tootsie’s.
Here’s what he had to say, “I feel like I have to do it properly…like once you transition to country, you can’t transition back…It’s a genre you have to really respect. It’s not just, dip in and out.”
Who knew Ed Sheeran had so much love for the country music world? He will need a better cowboy hat though, because he looks like he’s making fun people in cowboy hats or possibly a cheap hooker in the pink hat.
