Happy birthday to Willie Nelson, who turns 92 today.
He just put out his 77th solo album this week, so he’s still rockin’ even in his 90’s. Some people would have you think otherwise though.
A social media post this month suggested Willie was getting so long in the teeth that his son Lukas Nelson is basically his caretaker now.
AXS TV posted it. Willie’s wife, Annie, just shot back the other day and told them to knock it off.
Their post included a shot of Willie, Annie, and Lukas that a friend shared. It said Lukas is proud to be “taking care” of them and making sure they’re both “comfortable and living their best life.”
Annie commented on it…accused them of using the photo without permission…and basically called them liars. She said, “why would you take a photo from someone else’s feed [and] then make stuff up?”
She also called them out for getting her age wrong. They said she’s 63, but a quick google says she’s 68.
Anyway, happy birthday, Willie! We can tell you don’t need any help…and if you ever do, your wife seems more than capable.
