So, in case missed this, in which you’re absolutely lucky if you did. America’s country music legend (we use that word loosely) just dropped a banger of a cover song in his mind I’m sure, “Somewhere Over The Rainbow”. Yes. We’re talking about the from the movie, ’The Wizard Of Oz’.
Billy posted a message on his social media announcing that he would be releasing his own cover of the classic “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” along with guitarist Micki Free and producer Buck 22, to benefit the National Museum of African American Music here in Nashville.
People in the comment sections on social media didn’t disappoint or technically agree to him even putting out this song.
The cover may be questionably good…but at least it’s for a good cause. They could’ve asked Lainey Wilson to do this instead, but it’s none of my business.
