The song “You Ain’t Gotta Die (To Be Dead to Me)” by Kaitlin Butts is having a moment.
First, it went viral on TikTok. Then it really blew up once stars like Ella Langley started reposting it.
Now fans are telling such crazy breakup stories in the comments that Kaitlin is reading those stories live on stage before singing the song. And after each one, Kaitlin gets the crowd to chant: “RIP. Dead to me.”
One of them said, “He cheated on me with a 19-year-old from a gas station.”
