The 2025 ‘Field & Stream Music Fest’ Has Been Canceled for the Second Year in a Row

This is now year number two that the cancellation of this festival being it’s reality and it really sucks for them.

The Field & Stream Music Fest just can’t seem to catch a break. For the second year in a row, organizers have pulled the plug on the event, which was scheduled for October 3rd to 5th in Winnsboro, South Carolina.

Miranda LambertEric Church and Lynyrd Skynyrd were set to headline, with ZZ TopRiley Green and Bailey Zimmerman also on the bill.

In a brief statement, festival organizers cited only “circumstances beyond our control” and scrubbed nearly all other posts from their social media. Ticket holders will get refunds.

The cancellation stings even more given that Church has an ownership stake in Field & Stream. He and Morgan Wallen purchased the historic outdoor brand from Dick’s Sporting Goods last year, and promised a revived magazine and a music festival. The music festival just can’t seem to get off the ground floor at this point.

While the print edition has made it back to newsstands twice a year, the live event has now stumbled twice.

The first attempt in 2024 was canceled under clearer circumstances, when Hurricane Helene forced a last-minute shutdown. This time around, fans are left wondering if the festival is ever going to take place.
