Luke Combs is having another fantastic week in his career.
He has officially become the first artist in history to replace themselves at #1 at US Country Radio (Mediabase) on two separate occasions. The first time he replaced himself on the chart was back in 2024 with Riley Green when “Different ‘Round Here” was replaced with “Where The Wild Things Are”.
Now here we are in 2026 and “Days Like These” was just replaced with his now 22nd number one song, “Sleepless In A Hotel Room”. Additionally, the latter two songs make him the first to achieve self-replacement with solo songs.
Congrats to Luke on this nice chart achievement and I’m sure the suites in Nashville who thought he wouldn’t make in country music feel like jackasses by now.
