Morgan Wallen has spoken and I applaud him.
He took his ‘I’m The Problem’ stadium tour to Edmonton, Canada and he took some time to honor Charlie Kirk at his show. Charlie was sadly shot and killed while hosting a stop on The American Comeback Tour at the Utah Valley University. My heart is with his wife, Erika Kirk and their two babies.
Morgan didn’t say a lot, but he said what he needed to say and dedicated the perfect song to Charlie as he said…
“I’m not gonna say a whole bunch on this, but this song has been hitting me harder in the last couple days and I just wanted to let Erika Kirk know that me and my family are sending prayers her way.”
He dedicated “I’m A Little Crazy” to Charlie and that says a lot about how most people feel when it comes to protecting the people they love. That verse that says, “I keep a loaded .44 by the bed. For the jeepers and the creepers who ain’t right in the head. Hope I never have to use it, but you never know these days. I’m a little crazy, but the world’s insane”, hits a little too close to home.
