Things got a little wild the Born & Raised Music Festival in Pryor, Oklahoma.
Gavin Adcock has been feuding with a few different artists publicly and most famously with Charley Crockett. Charley has apparently put that feud to rest after the finger flipping of his t-shirt by Morgan Wallen, at least according to this Instagram post.
Charley posted a picture of himself in front of an old Coke machine with a caption that reads…
“I’m starting to think ol’ #1 and his sidekick are working for me… all jokes aside, I love each and every one of you. I’m just a song and dance man. Sometimes a saint. Sometimes a sinner. You have choices and you ain’t gotta listen to what I say. It’s a privilege to make music for a living, something that you afford me.
We don’t have to agree on much. You’re all welcome here. If I could ask one thing of you right now, please just be good to each other. The first record deal I ever got they were telling me ‘Charley boy, it’s a Coke & Pepsi world. You gotta play by the rules!’ They never realized I drink Dr. Pepper.”
That feud between Charley and Gavin was a good one too, but let’s not forget about how Gavin has publicly called out Zach Bryan multiple times over the past couple months. I mean I’m with Gavin on why he called out Zach to be honest in this fight.
Zach was in New Jersey for a three night run at MetLife Stadium and a 14 year old girl wanted to meet him. Zach responded to the multiple videos made about him not giving his fans the time of day and it was a piss poor look on Zach in what he said to this young girl. He wrote…
“You’re not entitled after someone plays two and a half hours to a picture or a hello. I went out and took pictures both night one and night three I had a third show the next day and it was late, needed rest…. GOMD.”
Now I get that he didn’t know she was 14 years old, but he still needs to think about what he’s saying to his fans that help pay for his life and his career. Gavin called Zach out online pretty quickly for his behavior towards fans.
Gavin even went farther in going after Zach in an interview with the Rolling Stone on their “Nashville Now “ podcast. Feel to listen to that and I really don’t think what Gavin said about Zach was all that bad in the podcast to be honest.
Now Zach never publicly responded to Gavin. Then fast forward to this weekend at the “Born & Raised Music Festival”, Zach and Gavin ran into each other. Gavin was playing the festival which was also in Zach’s home state of Oklahoma…and apparently Zach was ready to throw some hands.
His temper was on full display too. Hot heads like him are pure entertainment to me and guys like him can’t hide their asshole ways very well. Emotional broke men need Jesus, a lot of therapy and possible medication for the anger issues. Let’s be real. I’ve been known to be one of those people in my past life. You have to learn how to control your emotions. It’s easier said than done…I get it…we’re all human.
Country Central posted a series of videos online and they’re are wild. They show Zach acting like a prison inmate. He was screaming at one point saying, “if they open this fcking gate I’ll fcking kill you.”
Obviously they didn’t open the gate and Zach literally climbed the barbed wire fence to try to get to Gavin on the other side. They were clearly exchanging insults and Zach was done talking. So, he scaled that fence like a pissed off boss about fire a kid for messing up something expensive on the job site.
This is not going to end well for them. One them is going to wind up getting their asses kicked and the other one is going wind up going to jail. It’s one or the other. Zach and Gavin are even both signed to Warner Music Nashville. So, they kind sort of work together at the same company. This sounds like a headache for someone in HR.
