Limp Bizkit is back and apparently aiming straight for shock value. It’s who they are and I’m still a long time fan here and it’s been that way since 1997.
The band just dropped a new track called “Making Love to Morgan Wallen”…and yes, that’s actually the title.
At first glance, you might think the song is about vibing with Morgan Wallen’smusic…but Fred Durst clears things up in the final verse when he says, “makin’ love to Morgan Wallen in an elevator.”
I’m not an expert in any way, I think Limp Bizkit thinks Morgan makes elevator music? I could be wrong, but I’m going to go ahead and assume that.
While on tour with Metallica earlier this year, the band hinted at recording sessions in Nashville, which fueled rumors about a country-metal crossover project.
That might be a stretch…but given how artists like Hardy have been blending hard rock with country, it’s not completely out of left field.
