It’s been an effort two decades in the making but according to the numbers…it has finally come to fruition for Anheuser-Busch.
Despite being the beer that’s easy to make fun of and considered a cheap beer to avoid, things have changed in America. We should go ahead and point out how according to customer reviews it’s obviously a cheap beer, and it’s been ranked near the bottom of people’s taste test of America’s top-selling beers for quite sometime. Not anymore though, because Michelob Ultra has clawed its way to the top of the beer charts.
Michelob Ultra is now king of the hill among beer brands. It actually topped the sales by volume charts for 2025, and it has ousted Modelo Especial as America’s best-selling beer.
What’s happening America? Why aren’t we drinking a real beer like Shiner?
