The National FFA has some hidden country music talent.
As I was scrolling through TikTok on a Saturday afternoon, it showed me this video of a guy named Colten Mortensen singing some Zach Top at the National FFA convention. TikTok user @a_klawonn is doing the Lord’s work by posting this video by the way.
Colten wasn’t covering just any Zach Top’s song. He covering the hell out of Zach’s “Use Me”, which a certified country music twanger. It’s sounds like a classic Keith Withley song, but it’s completely Zach’s song from his “Cold Beer & Country Music” album. It’s a modern classic country music song from a modern country music bad ass.
Colten got up this stage with just an acoustic guitar, a microphone and proceeded to own this song.
