Stephen Wilson Jr. Is Actually Married to Sixpence None The Richer Lead Singer, Leigh Nash

If you grew up in the 90s you are more than aware of Stephen Wilson Jr.’s wife.

In case you missed the CMA Awards and it’s more likely you did. Especially considering how it had the lowest ratings in the history of the show on November 19, 2026. Stephen had one hell of a moment at the CMAs, when he delivered one of the best performances of the night with his performance of “Stand By Me”.

SWJ is pretty damn interesting to say the least. The 46-year old now country artist is pretty damn smart. As in the man is actually a former scientist. He also grew up boxing as a kid, following in the footsteps of his dad, but obviously he fell in love with songwriting when he was younger too. He even played in a band for short amount of time when he was younger, but then left that band to take on a job as a food scientist for Mars, Inc. Then he decided to quit being a scientist for a living to change careers to pursue his real passion as a songwriter. Music will draw anyone in…and apparently even scientists.

Stephen signed a deal with Big Loud in 2023 and released his debut album “søn of dad” that same year. The album was inspired by Stephen’s dad, who unfortunately passed away in 2018.

Stephen Wilson Jr.’s wife is none other than Leigh Nash, who happens to be the lead singer of the band Sixpence None the Richer. If you were alive in 1990s, I’m one hundred percent positive that you heard their massive hit “Kiss Me” that they released in 1998. The song was everywhere…literally.

Stephen and Leigh were married in 2011, and now we all know a little more about Stephen Wilson Jr.
