From Garth…to Luke and now Morgan.
For years, Garth Brooks felt untouchable at the top of country music sales, sitting at more than 162 million units sold. That record finally fell in October when Luke Combs slipped past him by about a million.
But it didn’t last long at all.
According to the Recording Industry Association of America, Morgan Wallen now holds the crown. He picked up 80 new certifications in a single day and has now crossed 240 million units sold mark.
