What’s your technique for opening a gift? Do you just rip into it? Or are you that person who thinks they’ll re-use the wrapping paper next year? Well…it turns out a surprising number of us are that person.
Someone polled 30,000 Americans. And a full third admitted they save wrapping paper.
18% said they keep it and re-use it. Another 16% keep it but “rarely” end up using it again. So, 34% total.
If you thought it was something only Depression-era grandmas did, you’re wrong. The poll found young people are actually more likely to do it.
Only 25% of seniors save wrapping paper, compared to 44% of people under 30.
Women are a little more likely to save it than men…38% of women, and 28% of guys.
