Ashley McBryde just covered the hardest song in all of country music. It’s “I’ve Been Everywhere”…which was made famous by Johnny Cash.
This song has gotta be one of the hardest songs ever to memorize. And of course Ashley did the best she could. Mainly because she’s a certified bad ass.
Before starting, Ashley joked about being offered twenty bucks to learn the song in just a few hours. That means she had to cram dozens and dozens of towns into one verse without tripping up. Good luck.
She nailed the opening cities, then the rest got a bit wild.
When the lyrics got shaky, she made up her own version, and swapped town names for beers and cocktails. And even though she flubbed some of the lyrics, it was still very impressive.
