Just to clarify. Carrie Underwood won Season 4 of “American Idol” back in 2005. Which was over 20 years bc ago now. Well 21 to be exact now.
Now that we all feel older now together…we’re actually talking about Carrie’s judging abilities on “American Idol”. Carrie has officially returned to the judges’ table on “American Idol” for Season 24, alongside Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie.
And she knows some fans think she’s a tough judge. The country superstar addressed past criticism about her judging style during an interview on SiriusXM’s The Highway.
She said this about her judging process, “sometimes I get in trouble from people like, ‘how dare she say that it wasn’t perfect?’ I just want everybody to learn…and hearing you are amazing all the time is not going to get you anywhere.”
Carrie says her critiques come from encouragement, not negativity. Someone has to tell the truth…and I’m happy to Carrie is doing that too. We need more of that in this world.
