Last April, Kacey Musgraves had the internet talking after she tweeted the following statement…
“Is it possible to die of horniness? Asking for a friend.”
And now on X, Kacey retweeted her on a tweet from almost a year ago, and she even answered a fan’s question about her sixth studio album, referred to as “KM6” for now.
“Care to share more about KM6?”
Kacey replied with a cow, hinting that she has something up her sleeve…
She also put up some billboards…which fans have obviously spotted that reads…
“Dry spell? Call for a real good time.”
There’s even a phone number listed, and when you call the number, you hear a teaser of what I’m assuming will be the lead single of her hopefully forthcoming album. The lyrics certainly point to the fact that she might be ready to answer her own question when it comes to her aforementioned tweet.
“It’s been a real long 335 days, And the last time, it wasn’t good anyway, I’m so lonely, Lonely with a capital ‘H,’
If you know what I mean…”
When you call the number, you also get a text that says fans are entering the “middle of nowhere”, which could potentially be the name of the song or even the actual album.
“Hi, it’s Kacey. Click the link before you lose service… Welcome to the Middle of Nowhere.”
Needless to say…this is genius marketing.
